Reinforcement Fix
The positioning and securing of steel reinforcement requires precision and accuracy to ensure efficiencies in constructability and compliance with relevant structural drawings/detail. We service all project-required Reinforcement Fix applications, ensuring structural integrity, safe work practices, and quality assurance throughout the project delivery.
Our team works closely with our Client, Main Contractor, Engineers and all supporting Structural Trades to develop comprehensive solutions for the applicable contracted project across various industry sectors.
Prefabricated Elements
Through proactive planning and in collaboration with our Client, we meet each project’s needs by assessing its lead time and specifications and the risk management and safety requirements. Prefabrication of certain elements on a project can assist with construction program efficiencies, safety, QA and delivery logistics. Where feasible, we provide prefabrication services for applicable elements inclusive of columns, pad footings and conventional walls. Welding requirements for crane lifting points are provided for practical applications. Prefabricated elements are constructed with reliability, safety, strength and compliance with Australian Standards in mind.
In Ground Works
Steel reinforcement to all subsurface, concrete slabs and other foundational elements are needed in the first stage of a construction project. At times, this stage of the project can be challenging for all interested parties due to the host of unforeseen disruptions, potential design adjustments, and general access.
Mechanical/Future Connections
Throughout the construction process, future connections are used to reduce lap reinforcement and provide connections between cold joints. Whether it is MBT, BT Headed Anchor, BT Threaded Coupler, Pull Out Bar, TMJ, PMJ or Reid Box Connections, we prioritise accuracy during set out and sufficient bracing during installation to ensure our QA expectations are delivered.
Drill/Epoxy Post-Pour
We partner with industry-leading equipment supplier Hilti to provide Drill/Epoxy Post-Pour Connection services for all project variations, rectifications, or design changes. We service all project requirements, inclusive core drilling applications. We use a high-strength Epoxy chemical that is fit for purpose, meeting all structural engineering specifications and requirements and Australian Standards.
Our team is mindful of WHS risks such as Silica exposure, so to ensure the safety of our staff, on most applications, we utilise the SAFEset drilling system from Hilti.
Remediation Works
Our remedial solutions can be applied across all elements associated with Reinforcement Fix SOW. Applications include design changes requiring Core Drilling/Post Pour connections, design changes requiring element deletions/additions, design changes requiring concrete scanning, defect rectification, damage incurred from supporting contractors, and design and methodology input relating to all aspects of refurbishment projects.
Another service that we provide clients is the ability to come onto a project (which is contracted to a competitor) to rectify defects/design installation issues. These situations can be difficult. However, we work with the client and all other parties to ensure program/design solutions are provided to drive the project forward. Whether it ends up being a partial or complete changeover, we are here to serve our client’s needs.

We carry one of the largest ranges of reinforcing accessories/sundries in the industry, which ensures application, delivery and QA requirements are provided to our clients.
Supplying accessories/sundries in house, ensures efficiencies of delivery, quality and stocktake on the project to ensure that we meet all requirements demanded by our clients. PT/Reo Fix Packages
Austral SF provide complete packages for Reinforcement Fix and Post Tensioning. Post Tensioning services include both supply/install only and D&C.
